Bikozulu MasterClass

The Creative Writing Masterclass is an online learning experience hosted by Bikozulu.

Our goal for the Masterclass is to inform and inspire our participants to write more professionally, more creatively.

Jackson Biko himself teaches the class.

He also prepares the curriculum; it draws from his personal experiences as a creative writer, 13 years in the industry and counting.  He has also published two books – Drunk and Thursdays – and won many creative writing awards.

The curriculum explores writing as a craft, an art and as a profession.

The genre we focus on is Creative non-fiction. That is, creative-nonfiction for writing in magazines, blogs, newspaper features, personal journals and any other platform that embraces creativity in its storytelling.

Each Class runs online – on Zoom – from Monday to Friday. There are two sessions on each day.

Morning session is from 9AM to 10.45AM

Afternoon session is from 3PM to 4.45PM

The afternoon sessions are a continuation of the morning session, so please set time aside for both.

We will share the Class links a day before kick off.
